Do you know a recipe for a healthy smoothie that i can make at home?

STRAWBERRY ORANGE BANANA SMOOTHIE





1-1/2 C. frozen unsweetened whole strawberries


1 banana, peeled and cut up


1/2 C. orange (or apple) juice


1/2 C. nonfat vanilla or other flavor yogurt (not frozen)


1/2 C. small ice cubes


2 Tbs. protein powder (optional)





In a blender, whirl together all ingredients until smooth and thick. Serve immediately. Makes about 3 C.





MELON SMOOTHIE





1/4 cantaloupe, peeled, seeded and cubed


1/4 honeydew melon, peeled, seeded and cubed


1 lime, juiced


2 tbsp. sugar





In a blender, combine cantaloupe, honeydew, lime juice and sugar. Blend until smooth. Pour into glasses and serve.





ORANGE SMOOTHIE





1 (6 oz.) can frozen orange juice concentrate


1 c. milk


1 c. water


1 tsp. vanilla extract


1/3 c. sugar


10 cubes ice





In a blender, combine orange juice concentrate, milk, water, vanilla, sugar and ice. Blend until smooth. Pour into glasses and serve.





BANANA PEACH SMOOTHIE





1 can sliced yellow cling peaches, chilled


1 medium banana, peeled and sliced


1 C. low-fat milk


1 C. ice


1 can pineapple juice, chilled


Fresh sprigs of mint to garnish (if desired)

Lemon Berry Smoothie





Ingredients-


1 (8 ounce) container blueberry nonfat yogurt


1 1/2 cups skim milk


1 cup ice cubes


1 cup fresh blueberries


1 cup fresh strawberries


1 teaspoon powdered lemonade mix





Preparation-


Place yogurt, milk, ice cubes, blueberries, strawberries, and lemonade mix in a blender. Pulse until smooth and creamy.Do you know a recipe for a healthy smoothie that i can make at home?
2 lg. ripe bananas, frozen


2 c. pineapple chunks


2 c. strawberries (fresh or frozen)


2 (8 oz.) carton strawberry yogurt


Slice frozen bananas into blender. Add remaining ingredients. Whirl until pureed. Serves 4.


To freeze ripe bananas, peel and wrap tightly in foil or plastic, and place in freezer overnight or up to a month. Whirled in a blender, they take on the texture of soft ice cream.
The recipe above is really cool. You can also add flax seed to the mix. :)
Healthy Home Smoothie


1 banana or


1 cup strawberries or


1 cup blueberries or


1 cup mixed frozen fruit(freezer section of grocery store)


1 small container of yogurt for each individual smoothie that you make. Milk can be added to top up your smoothie.


1 tsp honey or maple syrup or sweetener.


Use a blender and mix.


This is a healthier milk shake.

After answering your question, I just had to have one, so I used the banana and 1/2 cup of blueberries and I added 1/2 cup of unsweetened apple sauce in my recipe and just drank it all up myself.


It is so delicious.
I use 1/2 cup to 1 whole cup of 1% milk, and then whatever frozen or fresh fruit that I have. Strawberries, blueberries, pineapples, peaches, sometimes a half banana too. Blend away!! It is almost like ice cream when I get done with it! Yum!

here's the recipe


1/2 cup apple juice


1/2 cup guava juice


1 cup vanilla yogurt


1 cup frozen strawberries


1 cup frozen peaches


1/2 of a banana (or less)





just put the ingredients in the blender in the order stated and blend it on high until smooth! You should push the pulse button for about 15~30 seconds! You should stop if the mixture stops ciculating or if you hear the blender lagging!

1 scoop Cottage Cheese


Ice








PUMPKIN PIE





8 oz Milk or Vanilla Soy Milk


1 scoop Protein Powder (Vanilla)


1 scoop Frozen Yogurt (Vanilla)


录 cup Pumpkin Pie Mix


1 sheet Graham Cracker


Cinnamon and Nutmeg to taste (if Pumpkin Pie Mix is not spiced)


Ice
1 Banana


1 French Vanilla Yoplait yogurt


1 cup frozen strawberries


2/3 cup pineapple orange juice





Combine all ingredients in a blender. Blend until smooth.
