i have to do a project for health class and i want to make lasagna but i'm not too sure how healthy lasagna is, so i want to know if anyone knows a HEALTHY recipe for it.What is a good recipe for some healthy lasagna?
Spinach Lasagna Recipe

Makes 12 servings

Healthier and easier version of my favorite recipe

6 servings Hunt's Spaghetti Sauce mushroom - 28 - 32oz can

8 oz lasagna noodles, whole wheat

24 oz. cottage cheese, non fat

2 eggs

16 oz. spinach, frozen, thawed but not drained

4 oz. mozzarella cheese, part skim, shredded

1 tsp. garlic powder

1 tsp. salt

In a 9x 13 glass baking pan, spray with non-stick cooking spray. Pour in about 1/2 cup spaghetti sauce. Layer uncooked lasagna noodles over the top. Mix together the cottage cheese, eggs, and garlic. Put about 1/2 the mixture over the noodles.

Thaw the spinach, and spread fairly evenly over the cottage cheese mixture.

Pour about 1/2 the remaining spaghetti sauce over the spinach; add another layer of uncooked lasagna noodles.

Repeat the layers, topping the last layer with the mozzerella cheese. Cover and bake at 350 F. for about 1 hour. Uncover for about 5 minutes more.

To serve: let cool in the pan for about 10 minutes. Cut into 12 pieces. I love to freeze this recipe in serving pieces for a quick and easy meal for work or when I want something yummy but don't have time to cook.

There is NOTHING healthy about any pasta dish!!

Go to http://www.nutritiondata.com and input any recipe you like for your lasagna and get the nutrients in it to support your food.

Use Spinach or Tomato pasta in the lasagna and make sure it is made with whole grain flours too.

Use half as much cheese as is called for. Will be less tasty but should fit the bill the teacher is asking for.

I found website gives healthy recipes information ..

also, use 100%

whole wheat noodles instead of the regular white flour ones..use extra lean turkey instead of hamburger or only make a veggie one. Use 2% low fat mozz cheese as well.
Noodles, Light cheese, Yves Veggie Ground Round, spinach, and tomato sauce.
substitute sliced eggplant, zucchini or squash for the noodles
