Mmm I love tofu! Here's how I cook it a lot:
Tofu kebabs
500grams (1lb) firm tofu
1/2 cup fresh coriander (cilantro), chopped finely
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 tbsp soy sauce (more if you like)
1 tbsp sesame oil (from Asian stores and most supermarkets)
Chop the tofu into large cubes. Mix together remaining ingredients and marinate the tofu in this mixture for about 1/2 hour (longer if you like). Push about 4 tofu pieces onto each wooden skewer and grill (broil) under the griller at medium-high heat for about 15 minutes, turning the kebabs over halfway.
I am a rice freak so usually serve this with steamed jasmine rice and a big green salad. Enjoy!
